90-Day Return Policy

You have 90 days from receiving your item to request a return. We want you to be satisfied with your GOEHNER'S purchase — if you're not, we'll make it right.

How to start a return

  1. Email returns@goehnerstech.com with your order number. If we need more details, we'll ask for a photo or short video.
  2. If your return is accepted, our service team will provide return instructions, a return shipping label (where applicable), and the return address — within 1 business day (Monday–Friday).
  3. Pack the item(s) in the original packaging and ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx.
  4. Once we receive your package, we process the refund or exchange within 2 business days. Bank/credit card processing time depends on your provider.

Unused products

  • Unopened original packaging — within 90 days, full refund to original payment method.
  • Opened but unused — same condition as received, with all parts, labels, and instructions included — full refund.

Damaged, defective, or wrong items

Please inspect your order on arrival and contact us immediately if anything is wrong. We'll evaluate the issue and make it right — including covering return shipping when the issue is on our end.

Return shipping costs

  • GOEHNER'S covers return shipping when the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, or wrong item shipped).
  • Customer covers return shipping for change-of-mind returns or other reasons not due to our error.

Partial refund situations

You may receive a partial refund instead of a full refund if:

  • The item is not in its original condition or has missing parts (for reasons not due to our error).
  • The item is returned more than 90 days after delivery.

Non-returnable items

Items damaged after delivery, or items affecting resale (such as products with broken seals where the seal is required for resale), may not be eligible for return. Please contact us if you have questions about a specific item.

Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange is to place a new order while we process your return. To request an exchange, email us with your order number and what you'd like to exchange for.

Important: Items returned without first requesting a return through our service team will not be accepted. Please email us before sending anything back.

3-Year Manufacturer Warranty

Every GOEHNER'S product is covered by a 3-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. This covers:

  • Heating element failure
  • Motor or pump failure
  • Electrical component defects
  • Cracked or broken housing under normal use
  • Steam trigger mechanism
  • Tank seal integrity

What the warranty does NOT cover

  • Damage from misuse, dropping, or using on non-approved surfaces
  • Damage from failure to descale when using hard water
  • Cosmetic wear (scratches, scuffs) from normal use
  • Included accessories (pads, brushes — these are consumables)
  • Commercial use (warranty is for household use)
Defect notification timeline: Defects must be reported to returns@goehnerstech.com within 10 calendar days of discovery. Reports outside this window may not qualify for warranty replacement — but we'll always do our best to help, so please contact us regardless.

How Warranty Claims Work

Here's our warranty claim process:

  1. Email us at returns@goehnerstech.com with your order number and a brief description (photo or 30-second video helpful).
  2. Within 1 business day, we respond with troubleshooting steps or a warranty claim confirmation.
  3. If warranty is confirmed, we send return instructions and a prepaid return shipping label.
  4. Once we receive the unit, a replacement ships within 1-2 business days.
