SteamVex Portable Dry-Steam Cleaning System

Honestly, I wasn't sure about spending this much when my old steam mop was still technically working. But the grout in our hallway and the fridge gaps were driving me crazy, so I gave it a shot.

The steam is actually dry — my tile floor wasn't left soaking wet like with my old mop. It handled the soap scum on the shower door and some pet messes without much scrubbing. The nozzle feels solid, and the attachments click in properly, which I appreciate.

I even used it on my car interior — the cord was long enough to reach from the garage outlet. Knowing it only uses water at 230°F gives me peace of mind with my kids and pets around.

So far, no regrets.

I am genuinely blown away by how well this dry steam cleaner works. It heats up in about 30s and outputs super strong, steady steam that doesn't drop off halfway through cleaning. I cleaned my entire stove top, oven door and bathroom sink fixtures all on one fill. Love that I can refill the tank instantly without waiting for the machine to cool down. just power off the unit first.

It lifted years of built-up grease with ease and no harsh chemical smell afterwards.

I've gone through at least two cheap $60 handheld steam cleaners over the past few years, and they all had the same annoying issue. They'd shoot super hot steam for about two minutes, start sputtering wet water everywhere, and then force you to wait forever to cool down before refilling.

This Goehner's machine is on a completely different level.

I decided to give it a real stress test on my kitchen range hood and oven interior over the weekend. To my surprise, it heated up in literally 30 seconds straight out of the box. The dry steam coming out is legit hot and stays at a consistent high pressure the entire time. It dissolved years of baked-on grease on the stove mesh without me needing a single drop of toxic chemical spray.

I was able to run it continuously for almost half an hour on a single tank. Once the water runs low, I just shut it off and top it off right away.

The 13-foot power cord paired with the 5-foot hose gave me plenty of reach to do my entire bathroom tile grout and shower door tracks without swapping outlest twice. My hands didn't get tired either because the spray unit itself is super lightweight.

I am very impressed with the power of this small machine. I decided to clean my dirty outdoor grill, a window fan, my door, and outside window. This machine comes with several attachments and the brass brush helped scrub the grill while the steam melted off the grease, dried food, and rust. I have to admit my grill looks great for being over 5 yrs old and regularly used (the pics don’t really do justice but I am very pleased. Note: Some rust is still present on the burner covers, but I never thought to clean these prior to today. So I think this is just due to age and the humidity interacting with the metal. I do use a grill cover but it’s not really effective at protecting the grill from freezing temperatures and snow during the winter months).The steam also cleaned the window fan well. I did not unscrew the frame to really be able to get at the fan blades and inner workings. I did use some Q- tips to try and get the dirt off of the grates but overall I just let the steam and small nylon brush tip do the work. I then left the fan outside in the sun to dry and it looks so much cleaner than before.The machine comes with two “socks” that can be used over the large brush to clean windows or other flat surfaces. I tried it on the outside of my bay window and it did a great job. The combination of steam and scrubbing with this cloth melted all of the grime and dust. I did use dry paper towels to wipe up the steam streaks and my window looks great.Finally, I used the steamer to clean the dirt and marks on the outside of my front door. The steam melted the dust/dirt without damaging the paint. I used a clean, damp towel to mop up the dirt so there were no streaks left.I think that for the portability, strength, and lightweight nature of this machine , it is a great value! And don’t forget, you only use water! Plus, I really like that it has a safety feature (child lock) to avoid burns as the steam gets up to like 230F. I think there are so many different uses for this machine that you will certainly get your money’s worth! Bonus: the instruction manual is well written and easy to understand.

Cleaned our entire stove and kitchen backsplash with tap water alone. No headache-inducing bleach fumes, and it cut through grease effortlessly.

My husband used this on his car rims and AC vents, and I used it on our greasy range hood. Steam stays strong and doesn't leave huge puddles of water behind. It really packs a punch.

I really like this steamer because it comes with many different attachments to clean different things. I have used it to you clean my convention oven, stains on my carpet, the bathroom tiles, their refrigerator, etc. It heats up fast and it cleans perfectly and you don’t need any chemicals to help take stuff out and I really appreciate that. It’s kind of fun to go around the house and find things to clean, and it has a very long cord so it gives a lot of flexibility. I really like this is steamer.

This steam cleaner is incredibly easy to use and heats up in about 30 seconds. Even on the lowest setting, the steam output is strong and consistent (more powerful than I expected). One of my favorite features is the variety of attachments. It comes with multiple scrub brush sizes, microfiber covers, and a precision nozzle for tight spaces, which makes it useful for different cleaning jobs. I used it to clean under my sink after my garbage disposal leaked and it safely cleaned and sanitized the area. Now, I don’t have to worry about my cats coming into contact with dangerous chemicals near their auto feeder. It has a large water tank lasts a long time and can be refilled in the middle of use, which is super helpful.

My only complaint is that it doesn’t come with any kind of storage bag or organizer for the attachments. With multiple small pieces, it’s easy for things to lose parts if you’re not careful. Overall, this is a powerful, heavy duty cleaner that works great for deep cleaning around the house.

This handheld steamer works excellent. I utilize the steamer in my vehicle and it helps with keeping seats cleaned. Is bulky and has many parts however, I have found that this item allows me to keep my vehicle clean.

I like this steam cleaner because it’s easy to use and it’s portable as well. I like to use it on the grill so it releases the stick on food easily. It even cleans the oven glass and the best part is it does it with steam so there are no chemicals involved. It’s got a lot of different attachments so you can use it in a variety of spaces.

This steam cleaner worked REALLY well. It was very easy to set up and use. I liked that you could refill it without having to completely take it apart or have it completely loose its temperature. The fact that you can clean areas like the bathroom without having to use harsh chemicals was nice too, especially within our kids rooms. I was really happy with this unit and have been using it all the time.
